I really love portrait photos. This is my sister. This is her photos from my Jux.com account: nikkiremonde.jux.com
That is me, with the little brother.
A North Korean man (right) on a bus waves his hand as a South Korean man weeps after a luncheon meeting during inter-Korean temporary family reunions at Mount Kumgang resort October 31, 2010. Four hundred and thirty-six South Koreans were visiting North Korea to meet their 97 North Korean relatives, whom they have been separated from since the 1950-53 war, for three days.
This photo really got to me.. See the rest of ‘2010 in photos’ here.
Do it.
Great Weekend!
Last week was full. We had a lot to do and almost every subject had a required reading. I was really looking forward to my weekend because we had no lab class and Sunday’s for our family day in Cavite.
SATURDAY—We had no lab. I wasn’t ecstatic about it, since lab class is one of those classes that I do not want to miss. Besides the fact that my teacher is going to give bonus points for people with perfect attendance, my classmates are all fun! Anyway, my mom and I scheduled our trip to Gilmore that day since we had no class.
We left for Gilmore around 2PM and we got there an hour later. It was my first time to visit the place, and the place was heaven for techie people.*hihi* The first person who offered service approached us and lead us to their ‘booth’. I didn’t feel like trusting the guy since their ‘booth’ was at the corner of a dark hall! But, my mom insisted on following. When we asked about how much LCD repair would cost us, the guys immediately priced us Php11,000! That’s almost double of what I know! I was thankful that I had prior knowledge about the repair cost since I was able to ask a store somewhere in Greenhills. I contacted them via email. We had to decline, and took back my netbook (violently, since I wanted to leave the place). We also asked around the place and we’re glad that we found the people from Technix.
That’s how bad my LCD was… SAD.
SUNDAY—I spent this weekend with my family in Cavite. It was first time ever since my Papa left for Saudi again for work. August 1st is my Lolo’s birthday, and so is my Aussie tito’s birthday too. But, we weren’t celebrating with my Aussie Tito.
We had a lot of food, and cook out. I never realized that preparing char grill for BBQ is hard and HARD. It took 4 people (including me) to actually start the coal to char! No matter, we had a great time.
